This Black-Tailed Deer fawn sat nestled in some low brush not far from a cliff along Point Reyes National Seashore in northern California. It was a very blustery afternoon in early March and the baby found this perfect little shelter to escape the cold. I call it "Little Treasure" because I was literally freezing while working to take wildlife images along the cliffs of Point Reyes. The fawn was my sole reward, photographically, after making a daunting hike up a very steep hill packing camera gear and facing the wind!
