Lisa Langell was invited by Ray Johnston Designer Photography to be a featured artist for the monthly ArtAbout in Davis, CA in May 2012. Mas terful artwork was presented for the show and for sale as 100s of art enthusiasts visited the exhibit. Due to popularity, she has been invited for an encore exhibit December 14, 2012.

Langell’s work will be on display at the International Photographic Exhibition January 20-22, 2013, in Atlanta, GA and will travel internationally in special invitational displays. These images constitute one of the world’s largest annual exhibits of professional photography gathered simultaneously under one roof. Her photographs will also be published in two prestigious books. “Dragging My Feet” will also be published in the much-anticipated “Loan Collection” book. “River Dance,” photographed at the Gilbert Water Ranch in Gilbert, AZ will be published along with over 200 selected General Collection images in the “Showcase” book by Marathon Press.
Langell stated, “I am deeply honored to have been awarded this distinction for my work. The world’s top photographers representing diverse genres including portraiture, fashion, nature, and more enter this challenging competition. To have even one photograph chosen for the General Collection is a significant accomplishment and honor that many work a lifetime to achieve. To have two of my pieces selected in the same year—including one for the most elite Loan Collection, is an especially rare achievement.
I am both thrilled and humbled that my wildlife photography has competed among some of the best fine art photographs in the world, and earned this exclusive distinction.” "River Dance"

In a contest focused exclusively on backyard wildlife photography, Lisa Langell hopped into the lead with her winning image of a Desert Cottontail. The contest challenged photographers to capture images of wildlife within their own back yards without using any post-processing or cropping before it was submitted for judging. Lisa was honored to have her image judged and selected as the winning image by a photographer she most definitely admires, Moose Peterson.
