Station 1:Â Tombstone Alley Walk
MODEL: 1 - JESSE BELL'S RIDERS
-----------------------
This station takes us to one of the most iconic locations at the Mescal Movie Set. You may recognize this alley from Tombstone, where Doc Holliday, Wyatt Earp, and his brothers made their famous walk toward the O.K. Corral as a building burned behind them.
We won’t be recreating that scene. Instead, we’ll use this incredible location to create an epic Western portrait of our own, featuring a cowboy on horseback framed by the historic buildings of Mescal.
Station 2: Photography Studio Silhouette
MODEL: JOHNNY VEGAS
-----------------------
At this station, we’ll use the doorway of our old-time photography studio to create a dramatic silhouette of a cowboy.
We’ll work with the contrast between the darker interior and the light outside to create a simple but striking Western image. Your photography staff will help you with positioning, exposure, and composition to get the most out of this fun setup.
Â
Station 3: Low Key in Bank
MODEL: ROBIN WAYNE
-----------------------
At this station, we’ll head inside the Bank to create a dramatic low-key portrait of a cowboy.
You’ll learn techniques for controlling the light and exposure to keep the scene dark and moody while placing just the right kiss of light on our subject.
Station 4:Â Cowboy Portrait
 MODEL: ED ADAMSÂ
-----------------------
At this station, we’ll create a cinematic portrait of a cowboy while focusing on depth of field.
You’ll learn how to use your camera settings, lens choice, and positioning to separate your subject from the background and create depth in the scene. The goal is a cinematic Western portrait with a strong subject and a beautifully softened background.
Â
 4:00 PM - 4:15 PM | Break
After completing all four portrait stations, we’ll take a short break before moving on to our next photography session.
This is a good time to use the restroom, grab a drink or snack, and get ready for what’s next.
4:15 PM – 4:30 PM | Transition to Western TownÂ
After the break, make your way to the Western Town and meet with the photography staff. Please stay with the group and wait for instructions as we get everyone into position for our next shoot.
Â
4:30 PM – Sunset | Main Street Scene
MODELS: Jesse Bell's Team, John Babiarz, Curtis Balliew, Gary Hecksel, Lynda Kirby, Scott Martin,  Bob McLaughlin, Cliff Owens, Lynn Steele, Robin Wayne
-------------------------
We’ll position ourselves along the south side of Main Street as the Mescal Movie Set comes alive in front of our cameras. Townspeople will fill the streets and boardwalks, cowboys will ride through town on horseback, and wagons will roll down Main Street, creating the energy and activity of a bustling Old West town.
There will be action happening throughout the scene, giving you opportunities to capture everything from intimate moments between characters to big, cinematic images filled with people, horses, wagons, and the historic buildings of Mescal.
Keep your eyes moving and your camera ready. You never know where the next great image will happen!
