Station 1:  Lighting instruction in The Oriental

MODEL: 1 - Jenna Lichner

For this session, you will be our model while Lisa teaches photographers several different portrait lighting techniques, including Rembrandt, loop, butterfly, and rim lighting.

You will spend most of the session seated while Lisa adjusts the lighting to demonstrate how each technique changes the look of a portrait.

Lisa will guide you through small adjustments to your head position, facial expressions, and poses as needed. This will be a relaxed session with very little movement required.

Station 2: Low Key in Bank

MODEL: Gary Erickson

For this session, you will pose inside the Bank building while photographers create dramatic, low-key Western portraits using two lights.

One light will illuminate the side of your face, while the second will create a rim of light around your hat, shoulders, and clothing to help separate you from the dark background.

You will spend most of the session seated while our photography staff adjusts the lighting and guides you through different poses and expressions. This will be a relaxed session with very little movement required.

Station 3: Portrait lighting in Yellow Hotel

For this session, you will pose inside the Hotel while our staff member Mary demonstrates different lighting techniques for creating Western portraits.

Mary will guide you through various poses and positions while adjusting the lighting to show photographers how different setups change the look and feel of an image.

You will spend most of the session posing in one area, with occasional adjustments to your position, head angle, and expressions as Mary works through the different lighting techniques.

Station 4: Mercantile Portrait

For this session, you will pose inside the Mercantile while our instructor Lori demonstrates different lighting techniques for creating Western portraits.

Lori will guide you through various poses and positions while experimenting with different lighting setups to create a variety of looks.

You will spend most of the session posing in one area, with occasional adjustments to your position, head angle, and expressions as Lori works with the photographers.
