7:45 am Roping in Arena
We will continue photographing in the arena as the focus shifts to roping. During this session, cowboys will rope cattle in a live working scenario, providing fast-paced action and authentic western moments.
This is a true action photography opportunity. Participants can work on timing, tracking moving subjects, and capturing peak moments such as the swing of the rope, the throw, and the interaction between horse, rider, and steer. Expect quick movement and changing positions as each roping attempt unfolds.
Lisa will provide brief guidance before we begin, and staff will be available to assist with camera settings, positioning, and technique. Multiple runs will take place so everyone has opportunities to capture a variety of moments.
